Melik Hesenov: Inter has right to replace MKT-Araz in UEFA Cup

â€œAs MKT-Araz was not granted license to join Euro competitions Inter has a right to replace the club in UEFA Cupâ€, Melik Hesenov, chief of AFFA department for holing competitions, told APA-Sport.
Hesenov said FC Baku will not have right to join UEFA Cup even if it takes third place in the championship.
â€œUEFA has given us four places in Euro competitions. National cup winner and championship silver medallist are to join it. If MKT-Araz wins the cup it cannot join it because the team didnâ€™t receive license. According to the rules, semi-finalist team is to replace the winner. Neftchi has already ensured the participation in UEFA Cup. Then other semi-finalist Inter earns the right to participate in the competition. If FC Baku takes third place in national cup, it will represent the country in Intertotoâ€, he said.
If FC Khazar-Lankaran becomes Azerbaijani champion, MKT-Araz is to pass to UEFA Cup irrespective of final match in May 28. /APA-Sport/
