Zakit Mammedov sues AFFA

Amateur Football Federation vice-president Zakir Mammedov has sued the AFFA, he told APA-Sport.
Mammedov appealed to Khatai Court demanding the abolishment of 4 articles of the decision passed in 11th AFFA conference.
I demanded the abolishment of articles 7, 9, 10 and 11 as they contrast to Azerbaijani Constitution and laws. The decisions made in the conference violate footballersâ€™ rights. As a citizen I am against legionnaire limit â€œ5+2â€. The Constitution gives equal rights to the people irrespective of nationality and raceâ€, he underscored.
Former AFFA Executive Committee member noted that he added copies of statements by veteran footballers against the decision to the appeal. By article 7 â€œthe number of foreign footballers in local clubs was approved â€œ5+2â€. By article 9 â€œthe number of nationalized players in national team was approved â€œ5+2â€. Article 10 reads that the bid for local coach makes up AZN 10,000 and article 11 says the bid for foreign coach makes up AZN 50,000.
Preparatory process has been scheduled for June 18 in Khatai Court. /APA-Sport/
