“It was Azerbaijani football that benefited from the result of Olimpik-Neftchi matchâ€, FC Khazar-Lankaran head coach Agaselim Mirjavadov told APA-Sport.
The trainer said each club plays to its own interest.
“Olimpik managed to keep the fame it gained for many years. Many people say we stimulated the team for the match. There was nothing like that, I can assure you. I am only interested in my teamâ€, he said.
Mirjavadov stated that regaining the leadership again doesn’t give reason to be confident. He noted they will prepare very hard for the visit match against FC Gilan.
“We cannot celebrate the championship now. Everything will be clear in last round. It is impossible to escape unexpected results in football. Besides, we have a final match in national cup after the championship ends. We will try to win gold double this seasonâ€, he said. /APA-Sport/
