Newly-elected GFF president resigns

New presidential elections will be held in Georgian Football Federation (GFF), Ucha Ugulava, GFF secretary general said a press conference, APA reports.
Ugulava said that newly-appointed president of the federation Giorgi Nemsadze and nine members of the Executive Committee appealed to the secretariat with regard to their resignation.
“Extraordinary congress of the Executive Committee will be held soon. The president of the federation and members of the Executive Committee will be elected. After negotiations with UEFA we decided not to change the composition of the Executive Committee. The candidates participated in 13 May elections will be able to join the new elections,” he said.
Giorgi Nemsadze was elected president of Georgian Football Federation two days ago. /APA/
