“I am deeply concerned over the falling activity of the national team members”, Azerbaijan national team head coach Shahin Diniyev told APA-Sport.
The trainer stressed that the situation before European qualifying matches against Poland and Kazakhstan scheduled for June is not heartwarming.
“I have watches matches Olimpik – Inter and Baku – MKT-Araz. First of all, I prefer interesting play. I am very interested in footballers’ performance. But they are not active in the field. They seem very tired. Considering the season end, they will not get rid of it”, he said.
Diniyev said the coach staff hasn’t decided yet to pick FC Baku players Brazilian Leandro Gomesh and Andre Ladaga for training camp. The trainer is waiting for injured footballers to be recovered.
“MKT-Araz player Sasha Yunisoglu hasn’t played for a long time because of injury. Gomesh is not in form though he was fielded in last two matches. The same thing happened to Ladaga. Karvan defender Brasilian Ernani Pereyra has left for the motherland to get over from damage. I will announce the party after the next week matches scheduled for 17 and 18 May”, he said. /APA-Sport/
