“I am against the decision passed in AFFA conference yesterday on increase of bid prizes”, Inter head coach Valentin Khodukin told APA-Sport.
Ukrainian trainer stated that the decision shouldn’t have been made in the conference.
“Such issues should have been discussed at a meeting with club leaderships, not in AFFA conference. It is leaderships who spend money. The decision put them in difficult situation. Regional or other football federation officials participating in there are not interested in such hike. I think they shouldn’t vote in such meetings as they are indifferent. It is not too hard to guess the conditions of club leaderships providing financial assistance to football”, he said.
The trainer said the decision on “5+2” limit is a right step forward. But he didn’t consider it right the foreign footballers in national team to be considered legionaries.
“Legionary limit was to be increased and it was. But as for the decision concerning legionaries in national team, it will make the situation difficult in my team, as well as Baku and Karvan. From now on, these foreign footballers will spare no effort for the clubs because they are considered legionaries again. The club’s interest in his legionary will be faded. The club leaderships may remove them”, he said. /APA-Sport/
