AFFA passed several important decisions at the 11th conference today. The participants considered 2006 activities as satisfactory. Financial reports of Control and Inspection Committee and independent audit organization, as well as 2007 budget were approved, APA-Sport reports.
It was decided to prolong the cooperation with audit organization till next year. Next conference was scheduled for April 26, 2008. The legionary limit was approved as “5+2” (5 in line-up, 2 in reserve) in top and first division clubs regardless of their receiving Azeri citizenship. According to the FIFA resolution 901 (If a footballer or his grandparents and parents and if a foreign footballer lives 2 years in this country), relevant club and AFFA is to gather necessary documents on the issue and submit to state organizations. Besides, the number of legionaries in national team will be limited 5+2 (5 in field, 2 in reserve). The clubs are to pay AZN5000 for a local footballer, AZN20.000 for a legionary, AZN10.000 for a local trainer and AZN50.000 membership dues for a foreign trainer whose name was included in bid of 16th national championship. The clubs are to pay AZN40.000 for a foreigner working in various official posts. Simurg was chosen AFFA member at the conference as well. /APA-Sport/
