6 AFFA Executive Committee members deprived of authority

Esedov stated that AFFA vice-president Rauf Aliyev, as well as, Ali Resulov, Natig Aliyev, Hamlet IsakhanlÄ±, Isgender Javadov and Mubariz Penahov were deprived of authority by AFFA Rugilations.
â€œBy articles 30.3 and 30.7 of the Regulations, Rauf Aliyev, Ali Resulov Hamlet IsakhanlÄ± and Mubariz Penahov were stripped of membership because the organizations put forward their candidacy are not AFFA members any moreâ€, he underscored.
The secretary general noted that MOIK president N.Aliyev and his counsellor Javadov were deprived of membership as the club lost its position in top division. At most 7 members will join next meeting of Executive Committee. Nevertheless, the decision approved at the meetings will be considered legal. The elections to the vacant posts will be held on April 26, 2008.
R.Aliyev, Resulov, N.Aliyev, Isakhanli, Javadov and Penahov were elected Executive Committee members at AFFA conference on December 29, 2003. According to the AFFA regulations, at least 8 membersâ€™ participation is required to pass a legal decision. /APA-Sport/
