Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In accordance with the order of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, regulation process of medicine prices continues.
According to Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Tariff (Price) Council has confirmed prices of 1,126 medicines at today’s meeting. Of this, 47 medicines’ price will come into force from October 6, 1,079 – from December 1.
In total, prices of 2,183 medicines have been regulated. Consequently, prices of 53% medicines halved, 28% medicine fell three times. Generally, 98% of medicine prices have been reduced,.
According to the order of the Council, the sale of the medicines with unconfirmed prices from the same group may be sold after confirmation.
Along with this, documents submission for more 135 substances was declared and 20th October is deadline.
Decisions and list of the medicines have been posted on the website of the Tariff Council (www.tariff.gov.az).
