Baku. APA-Economics - Musa Ahmadov. Pasha Insurance heads the insurance market for insurance premiums collected in January-September, 2015, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
The company collected AZN 48.25 mln during nine months. The next places are held by Pasha Life Insurance (AZN 42.55 mln), Ateshgah Insurance (AZN 35.3 mln), Ateshga Life Insurance (AZN 30.2 mln) and Azersigorta (AZN 29.3 mln). Totally, 54.7% of market falls to share of first five companies (AZN 185.6 mln).
The companies with the least premiums are Bashak Inam (AZN 849,000), Amrah Sigorta (AZN 666,000), Azergarant (AZN 203,000),Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 62,000) and Gunay Sigorta (AZN 56,000). Total premiums of these companies made AZN 1.84 mln or 0.5% of insurance premiums.
Generally, 2 insurance companies’ premiums made over AZN 40 mln, 2 companies – over AZN 30 mln, 2 companies – over AZN 20 mln, 5 companies over AZN 10 mln, 4 companies AZN 5-10 mln, 6 companies AZN 1-5 mln, 2 companies AZN 0.5-1 mln, 4 companies below AZN 500,000. 9 insurers increased premiums, 18 decreased.
Regarding payment in the reporting period, the market was headed by PASHA Insurance with AZN 21.7 mln.
Gala Life Insurance payments amounted to AZN 16.3 mln, Ateshgah Insurance – AZN 11.5 mln, Ateshgah Life Insurance – AZN 10.3 mln and Azersigorta – AZN 9.3 mln. Total payments by these companies made AZN 69.2 mln or 54.3% of total payments.
The insurers doing fewest payments are Era-Trans (AZN 179,000), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 82,000), Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 53,000), Silk Way Insurance (AZN 40,000), and Azergarant (AZN 2,000).Total payments of these insurers amount to AZN 356,000 or 0.3% of total payments.
Generally, 1 insurance companies’ payments made over AZN 20 mln, 3 companies – over AZN 10 mln, 6 companies – over AZN 5 mln, 9 companies – AZN 1-5 mln, 2 companies – AZN 0.5-1 mln, 2 companies – below AZN 0.1 mln-0.5mln, 4 companies – below AZN 0.1 mln. 15 insurers increased payments, 12 decreased.
