Work has begun on the preparation of the legal and technical infrastructure to join the Tabadul Digital Platform, owned by the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange of the United Arab Emirates, in the field of integration into global financial markets, said Ruslan Khalilov, the Chairman of the Board of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE), APA-Economics reports.

He mentioned that this strategic cooperation will provide access to regional and international liquidity sources for the country's capital market, create opportunities for cross-border securities trading with the Arab Gulf countries and neighboring states, and also pave the way for international investors to participate in Azerbaijan's capital market.

"I would like to note that diagnostic work has been carried out on the technological systems to support the strategic development initiatives of the BSE through technological and digital solutions, and an action plan has been prepared and started for the improvement of the trading system and the acceleration of the integration of market participants' technological systems as soon as possible," Ruslan Khalilov added.
