“Turkic states are strengthening cooperation in the insurance market,” said Ulugbek Khasanov, a representative of the National Agency for Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during his speech at the Turkic States InsurTech Summit, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that deepening cooperation among Turkic countries in the areas of insurance market development, digital transformation, and risk management is among the top priorities.
“In Uzbekistan, the first national reinsurance company — Uzbekistan Reinsurance Company — has been established. This initiative aims to enhance the stability of the insurance market, reduce external dependency, and strengthen national insurance capacity in the region. The government, together with the World Bank, is working on a national strategy for financing and insuring against natural disasters. Experience sharing and the application of innovative solutions among Turkic states in this field will foster market integration and expand mutual investment opportunities,” Ulugbek Khasanov added.
