United States President Donald Trump delivered a speech at the New Golden Age Summit on Thursday, saying that "we will be going to Mars pretty soon", APA reports.
"Under NASA's Artemis program, American astronauts will soon return to establish a permanent American presence on the Moon, and then we will go to Mars," he commented.
Talking about Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) and its CEO Elon Musk, the US head of state underlined that the tech mogul and his company have done a lot to "advance the national interest," with the company, in particular, helping NASA not rely "on foreign nations to send our astronauts into space."
