Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Turkmenistan on Thursday and discussed expanding economic and strategic cooperation, APA reports.
The talks, held on the sidelines of a Commonwealth of Independent States summit and a Caspian Sea environmental meeting, covered cooperation in energy, agriculture, transportation and trade.
The two sides also called for faster completion of joint projects and said they were committed to broadening cooperation in line with their national interests and regional stability.
