A diesel train collided with a commuter train in Lviv, Ukraine, injuring at least five people, Ukrainian Railways informed, APA reports.
"While departing from the Pidzamche station, the Lviv-Sokal diesel train collided with an electric locomotive. The diesel train driver sustained a leg injury, and four passengers are receiving medical assistance," the company reported on its Telegram channel.
According to her, the locomotive's drivers were not injured. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated on-site by "railway specialists and emergency services."
