In 2023, the return on investment (R0I) of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) was 7.1%, which is the highest ROI indicator since the foundation of the Fund, APA-Economics reports citing SOFAZ's report on the results of 2023.
During this period, a 3.1% return on bonds and money market instruments, a 4.3% return on stocks, and a 0.3% loss on real estate were recorded. During the reporting period, SOFAZ's total investment portfolio reached $ 56,069,68 million.
Note that SOFAZ's highest indicator of return on investment was 5.3% in 2019.
Recall that in 2022, the investment portfolio was $ 49,034 million and the return on investment was - 5.2%.
