In January-March 2024, banks in Azerbaijan received AZN 465.2 mln. through instant remittance systems, APA-Economics reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The volume of remittances from banks in Azerbaijan abroad amounted to AZN 129 million.
Compared to the January-March months of the last year, the amount of funds received by banks through instant remittance systems decreased by 30.9% or AZN 207.6 mln. and the transfers from banks abroad decreased by 26.2% or AZN 45.8 million.
Note that in the first three months of last year, Azerbaijani banks received AZN 672.8 mln via instant remittance systems. The amount of funds sent abroad from banks amounted to AZN 174.8.
