The Dutch international banking and financial services corporation ING (Internationale Nederlanden Groep) has predicted that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will raise its interest rate in March, APA-Economics reports.
ING Group has raised its forecast for the Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s interest rate from 7.25% to 7.50% from the first quarter of this year to the third quarter of 2026. The corporation has raised its forecast for the interest rate for the third quarter of 2026 from 7.50% to 7.75%, and for the fourth quarter from 7.75% to 8.00%.
Note that the CBA has been keeping the interest rate stable at 7.25% since May last year. The Central Bank will announce its next decision on the interest rate on March 12 this year.
