In 2023, inflation in Azerbaijan dropped to 8.8%, which is 0,6% less compared to the January-November of last year’s indicator, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
Inflation on prices of food products, beverages, and tobacco products was 9,6%, 8,4 % on non-food items, and 8,2 % on paid services provided to the population.
In December of 2023, the consumer price index was 100,5 % compared to the previous month, and compared to December of the previous year, it was 102.1 %.
