Currently, there is no regulatory mechanism for cryptocurrencies in Azerbaijan. The Central Bank conducts research in this direction within the framework of its strategy, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, said this at a press conference on the parameters of the interest rate corridor, APA-Economics reports.
"We know that currently cryptocurrencies are bought and sold in Azerbaijan. I think that there should be regulation in this area, and next year we will make our decision in this direction,"he noted.
