As of October 1, 2025, total loans to the Azerbaijani economy (including both bank and non-bank loans) amounted to 31 billion 41.8 million manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This figure is 6% higher compared to the beginning of the current year.
Compared to October 1, 2024, loans to the economy increased by 9.3% or 2 billion 637.2 million manats.
Note that during this period, loans issued by state banks amounted to 7 billion 590.2 million manats, by private banks to 21 billion 686.1 million manats, and by non-bank credit organizations to 1 billion 765.5 million manats.
Recall that as of the reporting date, the volume of banks’ loan portfolio amounted to 29 billion 276.3 million manats, of which 15 billion 544.6 million manats were business loans, 9 billion 183.5 million manats were consumer loans, and 4 billion 548.2 million manats were mortgage loans.
