A meeting with the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mamarizo Nurmuratov was held as part of the working visit of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov to Dushanbe, APA-Economics reports.
Issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting and a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. It was stated that the memorandum will contribute to the further strengthening and expansion of cooperation between the two central banks, as well as to the development of the financial sector.
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, it is planned to deepen the partnership between the institutions in important areas, exchange experience and information, as well as organize mutual visits.
