In the last three months, the State Oil Fund has made transfers to the budget in foreign currency, said Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, at a press conference held today, APA-Economics reports.
The CBA Chairman said that the reason for this is the low demand for dollars at auctions.
He also added that the requirement for dollar sales is not a restriction, but a condition: “This is to prevent money laundering and abuse. There is no limit on the sale of foreign currency. If you have one million manat, you can convert it into foreign currency by indicating its source.”
