In 2023, investments in the Garabagh economic region amounted to 2 billion 254.4 million manats, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
This is a 20% increase compared to 2022 when the figure was 1 billion 887.2 million manats.
During this period, 31,500 manats were invested in the city of Khankendi for the first time.
According to the information, 33.1% of the total investments were directed to the Fuzuli district, 27.8% to the Shusha district, and 26.2% to the Aghdam district. In the reporting period, investments in the Aghjabadi district of the Garabagh economic region increased by 84.3% to 76.6 million manats, in the Barda district decreased 3.5 times to 10.65 million manats, in the Khojaly district increased 20.8 times to 5.3 million manats, in the Khojavend district decreased 34.9% to 112.1 million manats, and investments in the Tartar district increased by 42.2% to 86.15 million manats, while no investment was allocated to the Aghdara district.
