Azerbaijan to increase volume of tax and customs benefits this year by AZN 7.5 billion

In 2025, the volume of tax and customs benefits will reach 7.5 billion manats, APA-Economics reports.

The volume of tax and customs benefits provided by the state to stimulate economic activity and support social sectors is projected to be 7 billion 509 million manats in 2025.

This figure is 2 billion 257 million manats, or 43 percent, higher compared to 2022. Compared to the previous year, it represents an increase of 707.2 million manats, or 10.4 percent.

The total amount of benefits will be 4 billion 395.9 million manats, and the amount of exemptions will be 3 billion 113.2 million manats. Thus, in the overall structure, the share of benefits will be 58.5%, while the share of exemptions will be 41.5%. For comparison, in 2024, benefits amounted to 3 billion 995.8 million manats, and exemptions were at the level of 2 billion 806.1 million manats. In other words, the volume of benefits increased by 400 million manats, and the volume of exemptions increased by 307 million manats.

In the structure of benefits, the main share is constituted by exemptions applied in entrepreneurial activity, financial services, state institutions, and special economic zones.
