"In the context of contactless payments, Azerbaijan is the leader in the region, the share of NFC payments has exceeded 30%, and that confirms the status of leader in the region," Emil Zeynalov noted.
He also aded that this year, the international card organization Mastercard is planning to integrate Masterpass, a fast and secure payment solution with one touch, into the mobile application of two major banks in Azerbaijan. Last year, a great cooperation was started on this service.
