An excise tax will be applied to mobile devices imported into Azerbaijan, in parallel with the customs duty, APA reports.
This is reflected in the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026."
Thus, for the registration of more than 1 mobile device brought into the country by individuals during a calendar year, regardless of the market price, a state duty of 100 manat will be charged.
Additionally, an excise tax of 20 manat will be applied to each mobile device imported into the country by legal entities for the purpose of sale.
