The draft law “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the 2024 State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan"” was put into discussion in the plenary session of Milli Majlis (Parliament), APA reports.
According to the draft law, with the revision, revenues in the 2024 state budget are predicted to be AZN 36,353.0 million, which is AZN 2180.0 million or 6.4 % more than the approved indicator.
With the revision, expenditures in the state budget of 2024 are predicted in the amount of AZN 39707.3 million, which is AZN 2944.3 million or 8.0 % more than the approved indicator, and AZN 3249.4 million or 8.9 % more than the actual performance indicator of 2023.
After discussions, the draft law was put to the vote and adopted in the first reading.
