In August 2024, the inflation in Azerbaijan was 3,5% compared to August 2023, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the Committee, the consumer price index (CPI) for food products, beverages, and tobacco products was 103,0%, for non-food products 101,8%, and for paid services provided to the population 105,6%.
In August 2024, inflation was 0,4% compared to the previous month and in January-August, 1,3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
