Ranking of Azeri insurers for insurance claim payment in January-September

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based insurance companies paid in total AZN 40.4 million for insurance claims during January-September, up 59.4% on the same period last year.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Finance, Azersighorta State Insurance Company tops the list with AZN 9.29 million, or 22.9% of the total payments or insurance claims.
PASHA Sighorta (AZN 4.98 million or 12.3%) and MBASK (AZN 4.50 million or 11.1%) are among the first three. The three has a share of 46.5% in the total payments. Two insurers (Gala Sighorta and NishanSighorta) made no payment for insurance claims.
Qarant Sighorta was established in November, 2007.
