Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-ECONOMICS. As of May 1, 2012, the volume of deposits placed at the existing credit institutions in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 9,870.0 mln, up AZN 2,081.2 mln or 26.7% compared to last year, AZN 73.5 mln or 0.8% in April, 2012.
AZN 4,338.8 mln or 44.0% in the structure of deposits made households deposits. The deposits increased by AZN 980.1 mln or 29.2% year-on-year, as well AZN 39.9 mln or 0.9% in April.
At the same time, as of May 1, the volume of legal entities’ deposits amounted to AZN 5,531.2 mln. This figure rose AZN 1,101.0 million or 24.9%, year-on-year, AZN 33.7 mln or 0.6% in April, 2012. AZN 2,479.9 mln or 44.8% of deposits belonged to financial organizations, AZN 3,051.3 mln or 55.2% - non-financial organizations.
