MilliKart increases number of active plastic cards by 18% last year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. The number of active plastic cards issued by Millikart Processing Center of Azerbaijan was 191,000 as of January 1, 2012, up 18% compared to the indicator in the beginning of current year.

Number of ATMs of Millikart rose 10.34% to 320, POS-terminals increased by 2.7 times to 3,200. The number of operations during this period rose 18% to 848,657.

The number of banks, rendered service by the center, members of international payment system Visa, reached 8, MasterCard â€“ 5.

Note that, Millikart has been in operation since October, 2006. At present, Millikart renders service to 12 banks.
