IMF recommends Azerbaijan to reduce budget expenditures

He noted that, mid-term fiscal policy in Azerbaijan depended on oil. He also noted that, income from oil had not to increase the budget expenditures: â€œincrease of budget expenditure and economic growth can cause the inflation pressures in the country. Therefore, Azerbaijan has to reduce the budget expendituresâ€.

He also noted that, Azerbaijan had to start the reduction of budget expenditures from this year.

He noted that, Azerbaijan could control inflation level by keeping the exchange rate quickly.
