Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan have presented a report on the possible consequences for Armenia of suspending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), APA's Moscow bureau reports.

The report noted that Armenia's efforts to join the European Union have raised questions about its status within the EAEU.

It was also stated that Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan have the right to consider suspending Armenia's participation in the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to the report, if Armenia's membership in the EAEU is suspended, it could lose more than half of the remittances coming from Russia. The volume of remittances would fall to $1.8 billion, compared to $3.88 billion in 2025.
