TBC Kredit gets 42% rise in loan portfolio

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of December 31, 2011, Azerbaijan-based TBC Kredit non-banking organization’s loan portfolio rose 42% to AZN 27.5 mln. Company says, share of mortgage and consumption loans makes 25% and 31%. Micro business loans make 33% of business portfolio.
Consumption loan rose 150%, micro business loans – 100%.
Company received a number of tranches in amount of $6.5 mln from OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation). Besides, in autumn, 2011, a contract was signed with Responsibility Social Investments AG and $1 mln was received for development of micro business lending.
Note that, TBC Kredit plans to increase loan portfolio to $40 mln i 2012.
TBC Kredit has been in operation since 1999.
