Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Consumer prices and tariffs for services in December, 2011, increased by 0.9% compared to November, including food prices - 1.5%, non-food products - 0,1%, paid services - 0.6%.

The State Statistics Committee says in December, price of semolina, lamb, sausages, fresh fish, milk, butter, eggs, corn, apples, pears, quinces, pomegranates, walnuts and hazelnuts, chestnuts, cabbage, greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes rose, while price of rice, flour, bread, beef, chicken, sunflower and olive oil, lemons, bananas, oranges and tangerines, beets, carrots, garlic, onions went down.

Prices of non-food products such as clothes, paint, lacquer for wood flooring, wallpaper, wood boards, bricks, kitchen furniture, kitchen chairs, beds, mattresses and box springs, tables, chairs, upholstered furniture, cheaper wood-fiber boards, parquet and laminate flooring, cement , kitchen tables, bedroom furniture, gas stoves, heaters, vacuum cleaners went down.
