Ateshgah Sigorta marks 15th anniversary

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. The insurance company Ateshgah has marked its 15th anniversary.

The Company reports that established in December 1996, it became a pioneer of the insurance business in Azerbaijan. Today Ateshgah is part of insurance group Ateshgah, which also includes Azerbaijanâ€™s first life insurance company Ateshgah Life and medical clinic Intermed.

The staff (number of employees in 1998 reached only 15) now consists of about 250 people. The average age of employees in the Company is 30 years. Ateshgah has opened eight offices in Baku and nine offices in the regions of Azerbaijan.

In 1997 its premiums amounted to AZN 757,000 and compensation payments AZN 16,000 and for Jan-Nov 2011 the indicators exceeded AZN 15 million and AZN 5 million respectively.

Originally Ateshgah operated as a company developing in the corporate segment. Today it is a universal insurer, which renders high quality services to both legal entities and individuals.

Regular improvement of business processes and professional skills of employees is a priority task for Ateshgahâ€™s management.

The Company pays special attention on application of information technologies to improve their services. Thus, Ateshgah introduced the most advanced information system of insurance records and paperwork, which, in turn, creates a solid foundation for a qualitatively new technological level of operational processes. The Company also has around the clock system for receiving and processing incoming telephone calls in order to improve customer service.

Within the 15th Anniversary Concept the Company supplemented its logo with "scarlet sails" symbolizing Ateshgahâ€™s movement forward. This year Ateshgah has insured a unique historical monument Temple of Fire "Ateshgah", for the first time in Azerbaijan insured face of Eurovision 2011 winner Nigar Jamal, released the first compulsory third party car insurance policy in online regime through the Compulsory Insurance Bureau.

"Ateshgah intends to continue to remain an innovator and a leader in the insurance market of Azerbaijan," the Company informed.
