Bank of Baku gets 84% rise in net profit year-on-year

Baku. Vahab RZayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Bank of Bakuâ€™s authorized capital rose 104% to AZN 26.18 mln. Bank says assets soared 24% to AZN 284.785 mln.

At the same time, deposit portfolio extended 20% to AZN 210.210 mln. As well populationâ€™s term deposit soared 39% to AZN 156.384 mln, net profit made AZN 19.871 mln, up 84% from 2010.

Loan portfolio rose 35% to AZN 242.190 mln. Consumer lending increased by 58% to AZN 198.240 mln. Clients made over 370,000.
