US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has traveled to Oslo, the capital of Norway, to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Reuters reports.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Finnish President Alexander Stubb will also participate in the meeting.
Jared Kushner, the US President's son-in-law and adviser, will join the talks via video link. The Norwegian government stated that the Ukrainian side had requested Kushner and Witkoff's participation in the meetings.
The main objective of the talks is to steer diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine in a more constructive direction.
