Draft Strategic Plan of Azerbaijanâ€™s State Customs Committee prepared

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. Seminar on strategic planning was held for Azerbaijanâ€™s State Customs Committee at the Baku Regional Teaching Center of the World Customs Organization on November 14-18, the State Customs Committee told APA.

Chief of the Customs Control Head Office of the State Customs Committee Shahin Bagirov said projects were being implemented in all the member states of the World Customs Organization with the view of strengthening the potential. Relevant activities are also being carried out in Azerbaijan. The aim of the seminar is to contribute to these activities, once more determine the tasks for the modernization of Azerbaijanâ€™s customs service.

Shahin Bagirov said it had been decided to start preparing the draft Strategic Plan for the State Customs Committee. The draft plan will be prepared with the participation of the experts of the World Customs Organization.

The draft Strategic Plan for the State Customs Committee was prepared by the participants during the seminar and was submitted to the Committee leadership on November 18.
