Baku - APA-Economics. Georgian President Mikhael Saakashvili announced that it was important to attract the capital from Russia to his country.

To him, there is nothing surprising that Russian capital is stolen: “Unlike Russia, Georgia has attractive investment climate and the effective state apparatus. We must stand on the border and hunt the fleeing capital from Russia”.

Saakashvili noted that though embargo applied by Russia on Georgian products in 2006 was big shock, it taught them to stand on feet.

To him, Georgian economy does not depend on ongoing political processes in the country: “People support the course providing stability and reforms”.

“For development of infrastructure, Georgia exceeds several European countries, as well as Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. We intend to enter the EU with such infrastructure. By the end of the year, we will sign agreement with the EU on deep free trade zone”, Saakashvili added.
