YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan boots credit portfolio 58%

Baku. Elnur Huseynguliyev – APA-Economics. YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan’s credit portfolio was AZN 102,262 million until October 1, 2011 exceeding the last year’s index by 58%.

The bank increased 12-month credits for 2.2 times to AZN 42,972 million in the reporting period, the credits above 12 months were increased 27% to AZN 57,290 million, sources told APA-Economics, consumer credits for 2.9 times to AZN 12,707 million, the bank sources told APA-Economics.

The bank’s mortgage credits were increased 33.7% to AZN 511,32 thousands, but defaulted loans were reduced 16.3% to AZN 1,003 million.

The bank securities investment was reduced 28% to AZN 12,665 million in reporting period and external obligations were AZN 19,673 million.

YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan, which shareholders are Turkey’s yapiKredi Bank (99.8%), YapiKredi Finansal Kiralama (0.1%) and Yapikredi Yatirim Menkul Degerler (0.1%), was founded in 2000. It has 8 branches, 17 ATMs and 135 POS-terminals throughout the country.
