Ganjabank gets rise in profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Ganjabankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 41.808 mln, up 7.5% compared to a year ago.

Bank says loan portfolio soared 8.4% to AZN 29.202 mln, including consumer lending slipped 51% to AZN 1.066 mln, loan given via AMF soared 91% to AZN 2.556 mln. Deposit portfolio surged 4.9% to AZN 3.108 mln, including populationâ€™s deposit slipped 44% to AZN 0.234 mln. Term deposit grew 13% to AZN 2.874 mln, total capital climbed 0.2% to AZN 16.616 mln, and authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 15 mln.

Note that, income gained 18% to AZN 4.017 mln, expenditure ecreased by 8.3% to AZN 2.855 mln. Profit rose by 3.7 times to AZN 1.162 mln.

Staffs slid 3.9% to AZN 73, average monthly salary advanced to settle at AZN 803.

Ganjabank has been in operation since 1994. The bank operates 5 branches, 6 ATMs and 14 POS-terminals across the country.
