Baku hosts meeting of Azerbaijan-Greece intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. New stage of cooperation between Greece and Azerbaijan starts, said the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister, chairman of intergovernmental commission Spiridon Kuvelis at the meeting of Azerbaijan-Greece joint commission on cooperation in economy, industry and technology.

Co-chairman of commission from Azerbaijan, Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev stressed the high development of relations between two countries. According to him, the trade turnover between these countries made $ 160 mln in 2010, $ 140 mln of this made export from Azerbaijan: “Proposals have been collected from different ministries, sent to Greece and received applicable answers”.

Kuvelis noted that these two countries had different opportunities for increase of trade turnover: “Greece has great experience on oil processing, light industry and renewable energy spheres. At the same time, there are consulting services in Greece. We submitted the list of same companies to Azerbaijan. Besides, we can deepen our cooperation in tourism sphere. Greece receives 16 mln tourists, every year”.
