Azergarant sees 50% rise in premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Azergarant has earned AZN 892.751 thousand insurance premium throughout 2010, up 49% in comparison to a year ago.
Company says the payments on insurance risks rose 7.2% to AZN 75.066 thousand.
AZN 358.019 thousand premium, came from Personal Accident & Sickness Insurance , AZN 232.315 thousand from Compulsory Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance, AZN 146.160 from Property Fire insurance and AZN 127.023 thousand from Vehicle insurance.
Most of payment went to Personal Accident & Sickness Insurance (AZN 39.585 thousand), Compulsory Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance (AZN 22.113 thousand).
Remind that, Azergarant has been in operation since 1993. The company operates 23 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance types.
