The terrorist act in Istanbul’s Reina nightclub was committed by the 28-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan Yahya Mashrapov, APA reports citing to ntv.ru.
Photo of the passport of the suspect was released in the media. The passport was issued by the State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan.
In the New Year, a gunman attacked Reina nightclub in Ortakoy district of Istanbul, killing at least 39 people and wounding 69. Around 700 people were thought to have been in the club when the attack happened.
There were Russian, Saudi, Moroccan, Libyan, Lebanese, Jordanian and Israeli citizens among the killed people.
