Baku – APA. I expected discussions with Israel would end in May, but they delayed, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Turkish journalists in Kenya.
APA reports citing to Milliyet that Turkey’s conditions in this regard are clear: “We are waiting how the embargo imposed on Gaza will be halted after apology of Israeli side and agreement of compensation to be paid. There is an energy and water problem in Gaza. Hospitals and schools need construction materials to be restored. Israeli side says “yes” to Turkey’s sending construction materials and food products. We offered solution of energy problem by ship we would send to Ashdod port, but they suggested another way. No problem. They also agreed with our proposal on treatment of sea water or boring for solution of water problem”.
Erdogan also drew attention to new government in Israel: “How Lieberman’s new post of Defence Minister may affect the issue? Did Netanyahu discuss this issue with Lieberman? These issues will be discussed at the next meeting. I cannot exactly say place and date of the meeting”.
