European Parliament President: Kiev has fulfilled the necessary conditions for the abolition of visas with the EU

Kiev has fulfilled all the necessary conditions for the introduction of the EU visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine, this was announced by European Parliament President Martin Schulz in a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, reported on the website of Poroshenko on Thursday, APA reportsquoting RIA Novosti

Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with Shultz for the coordination of positions in preparation for political consultations and high-level Ukraine-EU on June 27 in Brussels and discuss the prospects for introducing visa-free regime.

“Martin Schulz has confirmed that Ukraine is properly fulfilled all the necessary criteria for the introduction of the EU visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens. In this regard, he assured that he is making every effort for the approval of the European Parliament’s positive decision in the near future”, — stated in the message.
