The Russian Embassy in Turkey has written on its Twitter page that Nurana Hasanova, one of those killed in the armed attack on a night club in Istanbul, was a Russian citizen, APA reported.
“Russian citizen Nurana Hasanova has died in the horrifying terrorist attack in Istanbul. We offer our condolences to her family,” the statement said.
An unknown man carried out an armed assault “Reina” night club in Istanbul’s Ortakoy district on the night of New Year, killing a total of 39 people. Among the dead were 16 foreign nationals, including Saudi, Moroccan, Lebanese, Libyan, Jordanian, and Israeli citizens.
