The Trostyanets in the Sumy region of Ukraine were taken under the control of the Russian army, the Sumy Regional State Administration Dmitry Zhivitsky said, APA reports quoting UNIAN.
According to him, the ambulance substation is currently controlled by the Russian military.
"They do not allow doctors to go on a call, they only allow children in emergencies. Doctors have been warned that they will be shot if they go," Zhivitsky said.
He also noted that when all the shops were looted, residents could not buy food and other goods.
